status

Read the table, watch it live, or cancel a row. The table lives on the queue host.

julia --project=. -m DistSSHKit [qhost:HOST] status [-q] [--tail N|full] [--interval S]
julia --project=. -m DistSSHKit [qhost:HOST] watch [-q] [--tail N|full] [--interval S]
julia --project=. -m DistSSHKit [qhost:HOST] cancel <id>
julia --project=. -m DistSSHKit [qhost:HOST] fetch <id> # 8-char prefix or full UUID
julia --project=. -m DistSSHKit [qhost:HOST] fetch .distsshqueue/tickets/<uuid>

Also: First job, submit, User Guide, fetch.

status / watch share one Store table (path / serve / enable / qhost). path is the store file, or none when it is missing (teardown / never submitted). Via qhost:HOST, path is HOST:~/.distsshqueue/jobs.toml so ~ is not this client. Jobs (empty) is a live store with zero rows; (none) is no file. serve is the live process (running / stopped / none). enable is the OS unit file on this host (LaunchAgent / systemd), or none. After qhost: those paths are the queue host's. Bare status is a snapshot. watch is status --interval (default 0.5). --tail N shows the last N jobs (full is all; omitting --tail is full). Each job is a card: ID, STATE, KIND, SCRIPT, then detail lines (queued is local wall time at submit, including DST; elapsed / wall, folded hosts). -q is the first line only. --verbose keeps the full host token list. While setup is in progress, STATE shows rsync / instantiate / check (instantiate includes the queue-host project; those steps are child: only). A qhost: stage still reaches check; a missing .git/ warns (the store row stays :running). qhost:HOST status / watch use ssh -t when this stdout is a TTY (watch paint). Colors unless this client has NO_COLOR (copied onto the hop). Watch redraws with \e[H\e[J then the frame (clear the screen first) and skips identical frames. A pipe without -q prints a compact serve / running / queued line; -q on a pipe is still the table. How the table file is locked and rewritten: User Guide · Job record.

Live does not stop serve. Ctrl-C leaves it running.

Flags

FlagMeaning
-q / --quietTable only (DISTSSHKIT_QUIET)
--progress / --verboseKeep chrome (exclusive with -q). --verbose also unfolds hosts
--interval SLive redraw (watch default 0.5)
--tail N|fullLast N jobs; omit or full for all
-h / --helpUsage

DISTSSHQUEUE_WATCH_TICKS is a test harness (finite frames), not a product flag.

cancel

:queued is dropped. :running uses DistSSHKit terminate_run! when the live run_dir is known (or a recorded artifact sidecar can be resolved). Queue does not allocate a normal job's output_dir at start. Finished rows and unknown ids print cannot be cancelled (exit 1). A successful cancel prints the id.

An ERROR line appears on a card when a job has failed.

fetch

After the row is :done / :failed / :cancelled, fetch copies the recorded artifact and extras onto this job tree. See Artifacts and paths.
